Born in 1993, Ivan Debs is a renowned, independent Artist, who identifies as a child of the burning sands of Africa and the luscious mountains of Lebanon.

Passionate about painting, drawing and art in its entirety, he had begun working very early on with newspapers and magazines in different countries (such as L’Orient Le Jour and Executive Magazine) as well as many different projects in the art field (such as advertising, branding, animation, music etc.…).

Recognized as an artist with a calm and discrete character who expresses himself best through his work, Ivan has won national and international contests such as, but not limited to, Redbull, Samsung, Rotring, & Stephen Marley Artwork contest.

Very committed to his belief, it is his fight as an artist to enlighten consciousness. As such his art integrates poetry and resistance messages to his generation inspiring them to search, discover, fight, and inspire

During the October 2019 Lebanese Revolution, Ivan Debs was known for his engagement and artistic contribution. He became one of the cultural leading faces of Lebanon’s uprising, and a messenger of consciousness, hope, and resistance for the people.

On June 1, 2020 Ivan Debs kick-started the Flamekeepers initiative. A movement that aims to inspire positive change, to our society and to our planet, through art.
